Ciasa Cianins
Ciasa Cianins is a family-run guesthouse in San Vigilio di Marebbe, Val Badia, Province of Bolzano (South Tyrol). The name comes from Ladin and means literally “casa Canins” — a tribute to the owning family’s roots.
The story of Ciasa Cianins begins in Corvara in Alta Badia, where the Canins family lived for generations among the Dolomites.
In the early 20th century the family moved to San Vigilio di Marebbe, bringing with them a tradition of alpine hospitality.
Later, Mario, son of Frida Canins, built the property you see today to honour those roots and share the landscape with visitors.
Today Ciasa Cianins welcomes guests from around the world in five apartments furnished with local natural materials: Swiss pine, Dolomite stone and traditional South Tyrolean fabrics.
